Kalaba

Kalaba is a village in the center of 7 smaller villages of FapoI, FapoII, Nassawara, Gulu-Vasta, Fogbe, Kandi and Kumuku as well as other smaller adjoining communities that make up the Kalaba community. There are over 5000 people in this community area. There is no electricity, running water or sewage system. The people are predominantly Gana-gana speaking tribe of the Niger State and their trade is basically farming. There is no school operating in the community, and the children wake up each day to another day of idleness.
